Bio A sailor of 25 years, professional captain for hire since 2013. I hold a USCG Merchant Mariner Master License up top 50 tons with towing and sailing endorsements. I am also a certified sailing instructor through ASA (101,103. 104, 105) and an International Sailing and Powerboat instructor with NauticEd. Over the years I worked as a captain for hire on recreational vessels up to 60′, power and sail, as a delivery captain or a charter captain. I have sailed in many destinations around the world and most extensively along the North East Coast of the US. I have a travel agency named “Neptune’s Daughter” (www.neptunes-daughter.com) that specializes in any on-water vacation: boat charter, yacht charters, bareboat, crewed, skippered, Galapagos cruises, Antarctica cruises, diving safaris and more. Recently I have started a new consulting company named “Maritime Maven” (www.maritime-maven.com) – through which I coach individuals to realize their boating dreams, whether recreationally or professionally. In addition, I am working with companies and organizations who are looking to start new operations or organize marine events, particularly in the New York Harbor.
